Easy assemble and great value for money

Lovely product arrived in a large box so we had to put it together. Such a shame these items don’t come assembled as I had to ask a neighbour to put it together for me as I had just had a hip replacement. Quite a pain really but product in all lovely.

Ideal and very comfortable

I realised after I'd put it together that it was meant for someone 5ft tall and I'm 6ft, my shoulders come onto the headrest and my feet are hanging over the edge. The recline bit on the feet end doesn't lift high enough, I have swollen ankles and I thought lifting them would bring the swelling down. Otherwise it's quite well made.

This is a difficult review to write because the product itself is lovely, good quality, attractive and comfortable - absolutely no complaints. However it arrived in a broken box and one of the feet was snapped plus there were several scuffs on the leather. I did not have time to return the item before i need it (to sit in after spinal surgery) so i asked if a replacement foot could be sent (still waiting for a reply to that question) and also a discount if i was prepared to keep it despite the scuffs. Customer service offered me £30 discount - when i said i thought it should be more they said i could return it for an exchange or refund but their system only allowed them to give max £30. If i’d asked for an exchange - surely the cost of collection and delivery would be more than £30 not to mention them having to do something with the defective item! Anyway with my surgery looming and not having the energy for a battle, i took the £30 and kept the chair.
