Great stuff!

Well worth the money. I fount it very hard work to apply to a large area (heavily nicotined ceiling) because it is thicker than most oil based paints. So I thinned it slightly with white spirit (probably not recommended) to make it much easier to apply. It still sealed well and gave excellent coverage requiring only one light coat of emulsion to finish the job.

I recommend zinsser cover stain, it covered dark brown Sadolins Extra in two coats, then applied a water based finish. My only issue was it seemed a bit thick to brush on but put it down to the cold weather, other than that it does the job well, with good coverage.

Purchased this to paint all our internal doors... painted iver zinsser primer on dark wood doors, lovely paint to work with, not sticky and leaves a lovely Matt finish. Doors look amazing ????
