Published on 29/12/2021Excellent!! Not too heavy, quiet, powerful, cuts brilliantly. Using the 9Ah 54V battery lasts about 30mins-1 hour of almost continuous cutting - by which time it is also needs a chain oil refill. Using it to help thin out an overgrown garden. I did have to replace the chain (replaced with Oregon compatible) - my fault as I blunted the original chain on a hidden fence wire that a tree had grown around. But even that was dead easy to replace - no screwdriver or bolts needed - just hand adjustable. Watch to keep it nice and clean to ensure the chain oil continues to flow. I also have a small petrol powered husky (also great) but I think I will end up using the Dewalt so much more - just because it's so much easier to use + feels less 'dangerous' to use too (although I still had all the chainsaw protective gear on).
