compared to the equivalent long chair of the past (about 10 years ago) the quality is not there and the seat is less good !!!

The design is OK and reasonably comfortable but the build quality is poor. The chair is held together with a series of nuts and bolts. There are holes drilled in the wood for the nuts to sit in. When the chair arrived most of the nuts were loose and the whole chair wobbled. I managed to tighten up most of them. However, one nut would not go deeply enough in to the recess to engage with the bolt. End result, the footrest is now balance on an unsecured bolt and quite wobbly. It looks like it will fail with reasonable usage. Disappointing.
