Derry Bold - Black Nickel Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Corner 8mm

A complete TRV set for more flexible room heating

Designed to combine individual radiator control with a coordinated finish, this Black Nickel Derry Bold thermostatic valve set includes both the TRV and matching lockshield. Its corner layout suits the relevant pipe route, and the liquid sensing mechanism adjusts the valve as surrounding temperature changes.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Manage radiator warmth around how the room is used: The thermostatic head responds to room temperature and regulates hot-water flow through that radiator as the selected comfort level is reached.
• Cut back on wasted heat once the room is comfortable: Once the room needs less heat, the TRV can reduce flow through that radiator, helping make more efficient use of the hot water being circulated.
• Add protection during very cold weather: When surrounding temperatures become very low, frost-protection behaviour can permit limited flow to help protect the radiator and connected pipework.
• Finish both sides of the radiator with one set: Supplying a matching lockshield alongside the TRV means both visible valve positions can be completed as one coordinated set.
• Use a fitting designed around your pipe direction: Where pipes emerge from the wall into a side radiator connection, the corner format helps keep the valve head tucked closer to the radiator.
• Set the radiator to a more suitable comfort level: The multi-temperature head lets you select different heating levels to suit how much warmth the room needs.
• Benefit from automatic response to changing room temperature: A liquid-filled sensor reacts as the room warms and cools, helping the valve adjust without constant manual intervention.
• Choose a finish that complements the installation: Its modern profile gives the radiator connection a neater, more streamlined finishing detail. The polished & lacquered Black Nickel finish helps coordinate the valves with the radiator and nearby fittings.
• Add longer-term confidence to the purchase: The 3 years guarantee provides added reassurance for a product intended to remain part of the heating installation for years to come.
