The DEWALT DT99550 FlexVolt Reciprocating Blade Set includes a selection of 13 bi-metal blades coated with a special Toughcoat finish, which reduces heat build-up and enhances cutting performance, making it up to twice as efficient as competitors. These blades are suitable for cutting a variety of materials including wood, particle boards, metals, piping, plastics, and PVC.

Short blades without oscillation on the other hand the more the length increases the more difficult it is to control but it is only a question of technique. Very good overall.
