My hunting dog is already 5 years old and well-trained, but he often picks up scents in the hunting area and then disappears; he comes back after a while. With this collar, I've been able to break this stupid habit: for several weeks now, with great success. Just the beep is enough to get him to heel. I should have done this sooner; even a 5-year-old can learn better obedience.
