This high-speed steel (HSS) drill bit is designed for precise drilling in steel and cast iron. Dormer A100 series general purpose HSS jobber drills are suitable for a wide range of general purpose engineering applications. They feature good self-centring capability and are suitable for both hand and machine use, offering reliable performance with a right-hand cutting direction.

    The product reflects what is described and visible in the photos. The specification regarding the magnetic force (daN or N) is important in the evaluation during the purchase. For the specific use that I made of it, it turned out to be just at the limit of necessity.
