This high-quality Draper XP1000 VDE Certified Wire Stripper is designed for professional use, manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. It features induction-hardened jaws and precision-ground edges for efficient wire stripping. The tool includes an adjustable threaded screw to set the stripping depth accurately, and its precision-machined pivot pins enable smooth, one-handed operation with minimal play, ensuring ease of use. The ergonomic, bi-material soft grip handle provides maximum comfort and grip, while horns prevent slipping onto live conductors. Tested to withstand 10,000V, it is suitable for working on live circuits up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The handle incorporates a tethered fixing solution to comply with Work at Height Regulations, sold separately.
