This bundles includes 10 packs of Dryzone Fast-Set Renovation Plaster (20kg) - enough to treat 10 m2 of wall at a total thickness of 20 mm (two-coat system). Dryzone Damp-Resistant Plaster Fast-Set Formula is a breathable renovation plaster developed for the rapid repair of damp-affected internal walls. It provides outstanding salt resistance, fast setting performance and excellent breathability, making it ideal for use on smaller areas, time-critical jobs and dubbing out uneven surfaces. Formulated with natural cement and specialist additives, the plaster is compatible with the Dryzone System following the installation of a remedial damp-proof course. Once applied, its porous matrix allows residual moisture to evaporate, while controlling the migration of hygroscopic salts that can otherwise damage decorative finishes. Dryzone Fast-Set Plaster sets in just two hours at 20 degrees C, significantly reducing downtime between application stages. It bonds strongly to brick, block, stone and other common masonry substrates. It should not be applied over plasterboard or bitumen-based coatings. The cured plaster achieves Class A1 fire resistance and a compressive strength of CS IV, in line with EN 998-1:2010 standards. Each 20 kg bag provides coverage of approximately 1 m2 at a total thickness of 20 mm (two-coat system). Application starts with a 5-10 mm rough coat, followed by a 10-15 mm top coat once the base has firmed. Additional layers of 10 mm can be built up where thicker sections are needed. Light scratching of the surface is recommended between coats to improve bonding. A gypsum skim coat may be applied after a minimum of 4 hours, depending on ambient conditions. Once the gypsum skim layer has cured, typically after at least 14 days, decorative finishes such as emulsion paint or wallpaper may be applied. Only non-vinyl-based emulsion paints should be used to maintain breathability and prevent future issues with damp retention.
