General description

Weathershield Quick Dry Satin from Dulux offers an attractive mid-sheen finish and guarantees 10 years of weather protection for exterior wood and metal, provided the surfaces are in good condition before application. The weatherproof paint film is mould resistant to minimize staining and flexible to resist cracking, ensuring your paintwork looks better for longer compared to conventional Dulux gloss paints.

Installation

Apply 1 or 2 coats with a brush.

Only apply in dry conditions, above 10°C, and when bad weather is not forecast.

Newly painted doors and windows should not be closed until the paint is fully dry.

Usage

It is advisable to only use light colours on south-facing resinous wood.

I had left an outside paint job a bit late in the year. Too late really for gloss paint to dry so i bought satinwood as it dries quickly. Paint n tin was not like the colour i expected but changed to the expected colour as it dried. Nice gel consistency and brushes cleaned in water. I notice that water is beading nicely on the woodwork after rain. Would use this sort of paint again.
