Lock the Value/Temperature Switch
Press the "ON" button to turn on, press the "HOLD/TEMP" button to lock the value, and press and hold "HOLD/TEMP" to change the temperature unit.
Using the Mode Switch
Press the "ON" button to turn on, touch "MODE/CAL" to switch between modes.
Quick and Accurate Calibration of pH Meters
1. Before calibration, add the pH4.00/pH6.86/pH9.18 buffer powder to a container with 250 ml of distilled water and stir until the powder is completely dissolved.
2. Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the pH meter and switch to pH mode.
3. Place the electrode in the standard pH6.86 solution and wait for the reading to stabilize (usually 5 to 10 seconds).
4. Press and hold the MODE/CAL button for 6 seconds and release it until the pH6.86 reading stops flashing and the pH6.86 calibration is complete.
5. Repeat the steps above to complete the pH 4.00/pH 9.18 calibration in order.
NOTE: Always strictly follow the pH 6.86, pH 4.00, pH 9.18 calibration sequence. Otherwise, the calibration result will be inaccurate.
