Description

The 335 Construction Silicone Sealant is a low modulus, reactive curing silicone designed for various sealing applications. It provides a weather-tight, flexible, rubber-like seal that remains permanently elastic. Suitable for sealing around PVCu profiles, window and door frames, glass, metal, and other building substrates, it offers excellent adhesion and durability. The sealant contains an anti-fungal compound to prevent mold growth and has a fast curing time, making it ideal for professional and DIY projects requiring a reliable, waterproof, and flexible seal.

Compatibility and Accessories

• For optimal adhesion on porous surfaces, priming or use of compatible primers is recommended

Installation

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or old sealant
• Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size and load into a sealant gun
• Apply the sealant evenly along the joint or surface to be sealed
• Tool the sealant with a wet finger or a smoothing tool for a neat finish
• Allow curing for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour before exposure to water or stress

Usage

• Apply to clean, dry surfaces for best results
• Use in joints where movement up to ± 20% is expected
• Suitable for sealing around windows, doors, glass, and other building elements
• Do not use on bitumen, asphalt, lead, or soft metals
• Not suitable for overpainting
