General description

Everbuild Everflex 450 Builder's Silicone Sealant is a high-quality, low modulus, oxime cure RTV silicone sealant designed for a wide range of sealing and bonding applications. It adheres to both porous and non-porous surfaces without the need for priming, providing a durable and waterproof seal. This sealant remains permanently flexible, forming a tight rubber-like seal that resists dirt accumulation and weathering, and cures quickly to ensure a high-strength, flexible, and waterproof bond suitable for internal and external use.

Recommended tools: Standard mastic or sealant guns (most common sizes)

Installation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or old sealant before application.

Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size and load into a sealant gun.

Apply the sealant evenly along the joint or surface to be sealed.

Tool the sealant with a suitable tool or finger dipped in soapy water for a smooth finish.

Allow curing time as specified to achieve optimal adhesion and flexibility.

Usage

Ideal for perimeter pointing around window frames, sealing and bonding PVCu, wood, and other materials.

Suitable as an expansion joint sealant and for weatherproofing panels and joints.

Effective for sealing soft metals like lead, copper, and zinc, as well as general glazing and draught-proofing.

Can be used for glass-to-glass and glass-to-aluminium sealing, as well as roof weather sealing.
