- The Cyclone Premium core drills by Evolution are designed for fast and precise drilling in high-strength steel. Made in the UK, these drills are ideal for construction, civil engineering, offshore installations, and sectors such as oil and gas, railways, and maritime construction. Constructed from tungsten-molybdenum steel S360, they outperform cobalt high-speed steel or titanium nitride coated drills. These core drills can withstand temperatures up to 68 HRC while maintaining their hardness, surpassing standard high-speed steel M2 and cobalt drills with hardness ratings of 64 and 66 HRC. They offer improved performance, durability, and cost savings, allowing faster drilling with less effort. The drills feature a universal Weldon 19 mm shank with two integrated plates compatible with most standard magnetic drills.
