This review is primarily intended to prevent future buyers from being disappointed. The finish isn't "gold" but "brushed gold." It's not shiny at all and has a rather dull color overall (see photo). The image on the website doesn't accurately represent the actual bar. Once you know this, you can still choose it because it's well-made, and its weight inspires confidence.
