The indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity are displayed with large, easily recognizable digits on the digital screen. Weather forecasts are based on atmospheric pressure, using an outdoor radio sensor. Features include a thermometer, hygrometer, and barometer; display of indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, selectable in °C or °F; MIN/MAX display for humidity and temperature; display of atmospheric pressure, humidity, and temperature trends; and an outdoor frost alarm that alerts when the outside temperature is between 1°C and 2.8°C. Three remote sensors allow the weather station to display up to three different room data points. Features include USB functionality, an atomic clock and alarm, a USB port for charging electronic devices, automatic or manual time setting, optional 12/24-hour time format and time zone selection, a T-similar alarm with simple on/off and snooze functions, a low battery indicator when used with battery power only, and a simple moon phase display. Requires two AA batteries (not included) or a DC power supply (included). When using the AC adapter, the backlight is active and can be adjusted to five brightness levels. When using only batteries, the screen is more difficult to read without the backlight. To do this, the backlight can be activated for 15 seconds when you press the "Light" button.
