Description
These ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws have a universally accepted, Pozi compatible drive. They feature 6 underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, along with reinforced countersunk necks that enhance holding power.
The screws are designed with an anti-friction thread to minimize timber splitting, reduce 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and improve drawing strength. The serrated thread allows for better pull-out and reduced torque during insertion. The double cutting point ensures faster drilling and less clogging of wood dust, capable of piercing 0.8mm steel.
Coated with 'Elementech 400', these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating is free from Cr6+ and has been Salt Spray tested for 400 hours.
