Product information

Description

FUXTEC lawn aerator FX-RL400

ingenious, quick and easy to do good for your lawn

The lawn aerator is 430 mm wide and has a diameter of 150 mm
  • increase the water supply
  • provide the lawn roots with more oxygen and can breathe better
  • improves nutrient uptake
  • Scarifying or aerating
First of all, it should be noted that scarifying is a more intensive aeration of the lawn, as the turf is scarified. Mulch and moss as well as any leaf debris in the grass are removed in this way. The soil can now breathe again and absorb nutrients, so it is advisable to fertilize the lawn after scarifying or aerating. Of course, it is also advisable to ensure sufficient watering so that the lawn has a beautiful rich color and can grow back nicely and densely. After scarifying or aerating is also the best time for reseeding, as the soil is now optimally prepared and the seed will find the best conditions.

Water hose reels for watering and the aforementioned reseeding are also available in our store.
  • What should be used for scarifying or aerating?
There is, of course, a separate device for each of the two processes, so we naturally recommend aerating the lawn with an aerator. Scarifying, on the other hand, is carried out with a scarifier or a so-called scarifier.
  • What additional treatments are recommended after scarifying or aerating?
In any case, the soil should be well watered after these processes, as this achieves the greatest effect. It is also advisable to sprinkle an additional portion of fertilizer, as this is now particularly well absorbed by the lawn.

Too light to make holes in a lawn with medium density soil. Obliged to add a weightlifting disc of 20kgs to avoid forcing the handle.
