Description
Simple yet effective horticultural fleece cover for flower patches, potted plants, raised beds, planters and vegetable gardens. This ultra-heavy duty frost jacket is amongst the thickest fleece fabric on the market giving vulnerable plants all the support they need over the harsh British winter. Most fleece jackets are 30-35gsm whereas our ultra thick fleece jackets are a whopping 50gsm giving ULTIMATE PROTECTION against cold weather, frosts and garden pests. Thick enough to keep tender plants nice and cosy but permeable enough to allow sufficient light, moisture and airflow to avoid damp and ensure healthy growth. This fleece dome kit comes with a fleece cover, 0.75m long plant support stake, connector and securing ground pegs. To use, simply attach the connector to the top of the stake, push into the ground, place the fleece cover over the top and peg down! Snug, cosy protection for vulnerable crops, seedlings and flowers down to approximately -8c. Assembled fleece dome size: approx. 1.2m diameter x 0.75m high. Please note that some height will be lost when staking into the ground, and this will depend on the density of the soil/medium in which your plants are growing.

What to do in the garden in February
February is a chilly month meaning there's not a huge amount you can do in the garden. That said, the days are getting longer and nature is coming out of hibernation little by little. If the weather allows it, you may even be able to cautiously start sowing a few seeds under cold frames towards the end of the month.
