Published on 12/05/2025, United KingdomEasy to fit together and adjust for my height. Perfect for slaying docks, thistles, nettles, burdock etc it takes them off at the ground; very satisfying! I quickly cleared a large area of thick vegetation. Sharpened with a heavy-duty 12" cigar scythe stone, it has not required peening yet.

Published on 08/07/2024, United KingdomEasy to assemble and lightweight to handle. Blade arrived reasonably sharp. My first time using a scythe, so my technique needs work (plenty of good videos on YouTube to help), but I cut the no-mow-May (which had become no-mow-June++) part of my lawn low enough to finish off with the lawnmower and filled a builders bulk bag with the hay without any of the noise and vibration of a strimmer.
