Gutter Mate Rainwater Diverter and Downpipe Filter for Water Butts
The Gutter Mate rainwater diverter and downpipe filter allows you to collect and filter rainwater directly from your guttering system before it enters your water butt or rainwater harvesting tank. The built-in filter basket removes leaves, moss, sand and debris to help prevent blocked gutters and contaminated water storage.
How It Works
Installed directly into your downpipe, the Gutter Mate filters rainwater as it flows through the system. Clean rainwater can be diverted into a water butt or storage tank while excess water automatically continues down the drainpipe once the water butt is full.
The diverter consists of five slide-fit components and includes a removable filter basket which can be cleaned in seconds without dismantling the system.
Compatibility
- Fits 68mm, 76mm and 80mm round downpipes
- Compatible with 65mm and 75mm square downpipes
- Square-to-round adaptor included for close-fitting brackets
- Suitable for connection to water butts and rainwater harvesting tanks
Optional Fine Filtration
An optional fine mesh insert is available for higher filtration requirements. This insert fits inside the filter basket and provides approximately 800 micron filtration, suitable for uses such as pressure washers or vehicle washing.
