General description

The Orac Luxxus KD1 Doric column is designed for both interior and exterior applications. It adds style to bathrooms and serves as an attractive decorative support in larger living spaces. These architectural columns are also effective in cloaking timber and steel supports under canopies, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various structures.

Installation

For best results, install a steel support into the ground before fitting the column.

Use FDP700 adhesive on the underside of the plinth and FX200 extra fix to join components together for exterior applications.

Secure the top edge of the capital to the canopy soffit with FDP700.

All columns come in a base white primer and require one coat of paint after installation.

Usage

Ideal for decorative support in bathrooms and larger living spaces.

Commonly used under canopies and porticoes in estate developments.

Can be painted in any color for interior use, while exterior columns are typically finished in white.

For added height, mount the column on a brick base, with each course of bricks adding approximately 70mm in height.

Height can be reduced by cutting the base of the K1102 plain shaft with a fine-toothed saw.
