Description

General description

The Orac KD5 Doric column features a 22cm (10 inch) fluted shaft that brings a classical style to any dwelling without taking up much floor space. KD5 columns can be used inside the home to add grandeur to bathrooms or hallways, or externally underneath a canopy or portico. The pillar includes a circular plinth and Doric capital made from tough lightweight duropolymer.

Installation

If the overall column height of 2420mm is too high, simply cut the surplus height from the base of the KD5 column shaft. If the columns are being used outside under a canopy or walkway, consider adding a brick or stone plinth. Typically, a brick course will add 70mm to the height, so a 3-course plinth would increase the column height to approximately 2630mm.
