General description

The KD11 is a specially designed column that caters to the needs of modern developers and low threshold entries. It addresses the challenges posed by disability regulations introduced in 2003, which require level access in most new build homes. The KD11 combines a popular K1102 polyurethane shaft with a durable duropolymer round plinth, resulting in a neat pillar height of 2120mm.

Installation

For new builds, sleeve the components over structural supports before adding a canopy or first floor blockwork.

For refurbishments, purchase 2 x KD11H half columns to create 1 full KD11 column.

Usage

Each KD11 column comes in white primer and requires a single coat of paint to finish.

For exterior or humid bathroom installations, use FDP700 and FX200; for interior installations, use FDP500 and FX200.
