Our hole plates for bird boxes are designed to protect the inhabitants from predators attempting to enlarge the nesting box hole. These discreet stainless steel plates easily attach to the front of bird nest boxes, effectively preventing even the most aggressive attackers from gaining access. Additionally, they can be used to reduce the hole size of your bird nesting boxes, allowing you to attract specific bird species. For instance, if you have a small bird box with a 32mm hole and wish to limit access to smaller species like coal tit, you can install a 25mm hole plate to deter larger garden birds.
