I am very disappointed with this door, whose presentation gives absolutely no indication of the actual work required after delivery. This is not simply a door delivered "to assemble." It arrives as a veritable carpentry kit requiring complete assembly, gluing, clamping, constant checking of squareness and diagonals, as well as silicone bonding of the various elements and the glazing. Wood glue is not even included. This is far from simply assembling a few parts. Even worse, the two large vertical stiles are not even made from a single piece of wood along their entire height. Each stile is made of two pieces that are joined end-to-end in the middle of the door. And it's not just a single stile cut in half for easier transport: the four pieces are different pieces of wood, with grain, knots, and colors that don't match. The break is therefore perfectly visible once the door is assembled. Curiously, this flaw is barely noticeable in the product photos. The bottom of the door is also made of grooved pieces that resemble the upper pieces, even though this groove serves no purpose there. For a door marketed as sliding, it would have been much more sensible to include a proper guide groove on the bottom edge. Even the mechanical assembly is particularly disappointing: long screws pass completely through the stiles and emerge on the outer edges. The holes remain visible. The intended "finish" consists of concealing them with simple wood-effect adhesive patches provided in the hardware bag. On a solid pine door intended to receive a stain and a clear finish, these stickers obviously won't take the color like the wood. Finally, the different sizes offered within the same range don't even necessarily have the same height: the 93.5 cm version is advertised as 204 cm, while the 73.5 cm version is 198.5 cm. This is particularly problematic when you buy several different versions to install in the same room. Ultimately, the seemingly low price is a false economy. You need space, clamps, tools, and genuine woodworking skills, and you have to dedicate several hours to building what is presented as a door yourself. Simply by factoring in the time required, you quickly reach the price of a properly manufactured, factory-made door. I had already started customizing the glass panels before gradually discovering all these problems, which makes it impossible for me to reasonably go back. Therefore, I do not recommend this product, not because it is delivered unassembled, but because its level of prefabrication, design, and finish are far from what the photos and marketing materials suggest.
