This rug looks nice in the photo and the colors are good, but up close its texture is coarse and rustic because the wool is thick. It didn't fit in my rather chic living room. I have other kilims with a finer and tighter weave. Too bad because the pattern is successful. I removed the fringes immediately because they were of no interest, but I still parted with the rug.
