General description

Matt Finish Patterned Imprinted Concrete Sealer for Driveways and Patios. This hard-wearing sealer is specially formulated for re-colouring and re-sealing imprinted concrete surfaces, helping to restore the original color of stamped or pressed concrete. It is non-yellowing and offers excellent resistance to water, alkalis, and acids, while containing a UV absorber to prevent color loss.

  • Volume: 25 Litres
  • Average coverage: 4 to 5 m² per litre (dependent on condition)
  • Flash point: 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup)
  • Installation

  • Ensure the surface area is completely clean and bone dry (allow 3-4 dry days after cleaning).
  • Apply using a paving sprayer or soft broom, typically in two equal applications.
  • The first application must be brushed into the surface and allowed to dry past tacky before applying the second coat.
  • Avoid application in strong, direct sunlight and if rain is likely within 6 hours.
  • Deicing salts should not be applied directly on the sealed surface.
  • Usage

  • Allow 1-2 hours minimum between coats.
  • Wait 4 hours before walking on the surface and 24 hours before allowing vehicle traffic.
  • For enhanced grip, Smartseal 'Anti-Slip Additive' can be added.
  • After application, expect 3-5 years of protection, depending on traffic, weather, and maintenance.
