General description

Matt Finish Patterned Imprinted Concrete Sealer for Driveways and Patios. This hard-wearing sealer is specially formulated to help with re-colouring and re-sealing of imprinted concrete surfaces, restoring the original coloring of stamped or pressed concrete. It is non-yellowing and offers excellent resistance to water, alkalis, and acids, while containing a UV absorber to protect against color loss from ultraviolet light.

  • Average coverage: 4 to 5 m² per litre (dependent on condition)
  • Application method: Sprayer or broom
  • Flash point: 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup)
  • Installation

  • Ensure the surface area is completely clean and bone dry (allow 3-4 dry days after cleaning).
  • Commonly requires a 2 coat application; however, this may vary based on the age and condition of the surface.
  • Apply the first coat, allowing it to dry past tacky before applying the second coat.
  • Avoid application in strong, direct sunlight and if rain is likely within 6 hours of application.
  • Usage

  • Protects against oil and other staining.
  • Seals, protects, and enhances the surface of all pattern imprinted concrete.
  • Can be combined with Smartseal color tints to restore the original color of paving.
  • Smartseal 'Anti-Slip Additive' can be added for extra surface grip.
  • After application, expect 3-5 years of protection, varying based on traffic, weather, and maintenance.
  • Other information

  • Health & Safety: Flammable liquid; keep the application area well ventilated and wear a respirator when applying.
  • Deicing salts should not be applied directly on Smartseal block paving or concrete sealers.
