Description

General description

Silk Finish Imprinted Concrete Sealer is designed for driveways and patios, providing a satin look and hard-wearing protection for imprinted concrete surfaces. This sealer offers a silky, slightly 'wet-look' finish while ensuring long-term protection against oil and stain penetration.

Coverage: 4 to 5 m² per litre per coat (dependent on condition)

Application temperature: 10 - 20°C

Flash point: 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup)

Skid Resistance Value (SRV): Certified by TRL for all categories of paving

Installation

Ensure the surface area is completely clean and bone dry (allow 3-4 dry days after cleaning).

Apply the sealer using a broom, ensuring the first coat is brushed into the surface to avoid pooling.

Allow a minimum of 2 hours between coats.

Wait 4 hours before walking and 24 hours before vehicle traffic on the surface.

A 2 coat application is commonly recommended, but may vary based on the surface's age and condition.

Usage

After proper application, expect 3-5 years of protection. The longevity of the sealer's protection may vary based on factors such as traffic (foot/vehicle), weather, and general maintenance.

Other information

Health & Safety: Flammable liquid. Keep the application area well ventilated, wear a respirator, and do not smoke.

Deicing salts should not be applied directly on sealed surfaces as they can cause damage.
