General description

The Integrated Eco Crevice Bat Box is designed to provide a permanent roost for bats within buildings. It features two internal crevices, each 22mm wide, ideal for common pipistrelle and soprano pipistrelle bats, as well as a single internal cavity 60mm wide for cavity roosting bats. The box is constructed from recycled LDPE plastic with an internal OSB roost chamber, ensuring durability and weather resistance. It is available with front panels in brick, green, or black to blend seamlessly with various building styles.

    Bats may take time to discover and occupy the new roosting space, which can take several years. Signs of occupation include droppings on the landing area and chittering noises from inside during warm afternoons and evenings.

    The box features a self-cleaning design that requires no maintenance, as droppings fall out of the entrance slot. It is important to be patient while waiting for bats to inhabit the box.
