When air becomes trapped in a sealed heating system, it can lead to various issues such as excessive noise, corrosion, and increased maintenance costs. This can also result in air locks, preventing the system from operating effectively and efficiently. The John Guest Speedfit 15mm Pushfit Auto Airvent is designed to automatically vent trapped air from heating systems and other closed circuit hot water systems, ensuring efficient and automatic removal of air while the system fills with water. A vacuum break is fitted onto the bottom of the valve to prevent air locks and encourage air release from the water within the system.
