Description

Features

Large carbide tip with patented rebar chamfers. Ensures lower vibration and optimised drilling performance when hitting reinforced steel equalling longer life time. Especially developed robust head geometry with optimum 4 x 90° symmetry of carbide tip. Reduces jamming up on hitting reinforcing steel.
Centering point with 130° point angle. Easy spot drilling with pinpoint accuracy and ensures optimum guidance during drilling.
Big, robust secondary cutter with dynamic, curved cutting edge. Supports the primary cutter for faster drilling.
Shorter spiral windings. For faster transport of drilling dust from the head to the flute = Less wear and heat build up at the tip.
Innovative, unique carbide tip. With more carbide on all diameters and extra carbide on ø > 32 mm.
Wear mark on both sides of primary cutter. Guarantees diameter accuracy i.e. for anchor fittings. Life time indicator in warranty cases.
Patented reinforced flute geometry. Lower vibrations for smoother drilling. Stronger flute means less breakages. Better transfer of hammer energy to the tip.
Deep flute shoulders. High volume dust removal for optimum drilling speed less wear and heat build up.
Low vibration drilling performance. Comfortable drilling ensures less stress for man and machine.
Special surface treatment. Shot blasting provides a smooth surface and densifies the surface structure and makes the bit more wear resistant.
PGM conformity. Guarantees precise holes for anchor fitting over the entire life time of the drill bit.

Le Foret looks very sturdy thanks to its 4 cutting edges. To see in time. First successful use

So there I am speechless, I bought a wick 18x1340 and not 14 x 340 mm. I am happy with this purchase because this bit allowed me to drill a hole in a wall with a thickness of 1m without problem.

In 1918, Henry Ford, the great car manufacturer, placed an order with a young manufacturer, A.H. Petersen, who was one of the company's tool suppliers. His brief was to develop an electric drill that would be lighter than those already in existence. Petersen took up the challenge and created the Hole-Shooter, capable of the same performance but requiring less effort from the workers. In 1922, he founded the A.H. Petersen Company with his partner, Siebert, who bought the company when it went bankrupt in a fire. He began by repairing tools: this enabled him to train his employees well and to understand the needs of users by being in contact with them. He developed all kinds of power tools that were powerful, durable and lightweight. Soon, the US Navy was adopting Milwaukee power tools. The company also launched new ranges of chipping hammers, belt sanders and jig saws, including the famous SAWZALL... In 2005, the company joined the international Techtronic Industry group, which owns major brands such as AEG, Hoover and Ryobi.
