The fire guard was exactly what I was looking for. Very reasonably priced. I have a young Irish Setter who sits near the gas fire gazing into the flames and lifts his paw up. Its great having this guard to keep her safe. You do have to be careful when taking it away it will be hot, I use a small cloth

I am changing my room decor and the guard I had was brass rimmed. This one is all black and blends in better. It is well made.

A good fire guard for the price, I bought it for the size & its spot on. If I had to pick a fault, The ring is a little low making it unbalanced when moving, but I can live with that. It looks nice, does the job its intended for & at a very good price
