The pump in this series is one of the most efficient in the aquarium industry, especially in marine aquariums. These pumps, also known as wavemakers, create a water movement in the aquarium that simulates the natural current of the ocean. This movement provides corals and other marine life, for example, with the current they need to survive.
The pumps are often placed opposite each other so that the currents cross and create a diffuse current. Thanks to the agitation created by the pump, unwanted sediment is practically eliminated from the bottom of the aquarium. To ensure that the generated flow can develop its full effects, the pump is mounted directly to the aquarium glass using a magnetic mount.
