- it allows water to flow through the filtration system to remove impurities before being discharged back into the aquarium;
- the external model allows for separating filtered water from unfiltered water;
- a minimal flow rate equivalent to three times the water volume is recommended.
Some accessories essential for the proper functioning of this equipment and the filtration system are also suggested:
- suction cups for attaching it to the glass wall of the aquarium;
- filtration foam refills.
