General description

This portable basketball system from Lifetime Products features a 48-inch steel-framed shatterproof backboard and a Speed Shift height adjustment mechanism that allows for height adjustments from 8 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments. It includes a Slam-It Rim with an all-weather nylon net and a 3-inch diameter round steel pole with a pole pad. The system is equipped with a 34-gallon portable base, making it easy to move to your desired location.

Great product kids loved! - bought it as it was recommended by a PE teacher friend who bought a few for his school. Not the easiest to assemble, but my 11-yr-old and I were able to do it, so should be ok for most people.

Ok so this seems like a quality product but the putting together was really difficult. Needed two of us and at least 5-6 hours. Suggest getting the right tools as we were struggling with an adjustable spanner. Note make sure you attach one end of the big spring before you put the backboard frame together otherwise you can’t get it on. It’s also very heavy so needs a min of two of you to put it up.

Although putting it together was slightly tricky, we are totally LOVING our basketball hoop! It is getting so much use and it is such good quality that I think it will get lots of use for years to come!
