Black Cage Style Ceiling Fan with Lights

This product should have a warning for shockingly bad wiring, dangerous even. I had an electrician wire this up and the light part of the ceiling fan was not working. Testing the tails from the transformer showed the wires were live but still the lights wouldn't work which suggested a broken live wire. After opening the lights compartment showed wires twisted together with cheap wire nuts, half the wires were loose, and the live wire was floating feely... this could easily touch the housing and electrocute the installer. I replaced all the wire nuts with wago's and the quick connect with wago's as they don't cross-connect on the earth wires!!! NOTE!!! The earth wires all have to be in the same terminal they provide 3 terminals but these are single passthrough and no cross connection!!! THIS MEANS ONE WIRE WILL NOT BE EARTHED IF YOU CONNECT EARTHS INTO EACH TERMINAL!!! 2 EARTH INPUTS ARE NEEDED, 1 FOR THE TRANSFORMER, 1 FOR THE HOUSING. REPLACE THIS WITH A WAGO 3 TERMINAL!!!
