Shear nuts, also known as breakaway nuts, inviolable nuts, snap off nuts, security nuts, tamper proof nuts, or permacone nuts, provide a permanent security solution ideal for applications where maintenance is not required. They are specifically designed to prevent unauthorized tampering or removal of equipment and facilities, making them suitable for use in public areas such as schools and hospitals, as well as within the fencing industry for security perimeter fencing.

  • This leaves a plain tamper-resistant cone shape that is extremely difficult to remove.
