Description

General description

An insert nut provides a threaded socket for a wooden workpiece, similar to a bolt anchor. These versatile threaded insert nuts are designed for easy installation and can be driven with a hex key.

Installation

The pre-drilled hole should be as deep as the length of the insert nut and any portion of the bolt that can be threaded beyond the end of the nut into the workpiece.

Insert nuts are installed from one side of the workpiece, making them advantageous over barrel nuts and T-nuts.

Usage

These insert nuts are inserted into a pre-drilled hole by a screw, with external protrusions biting into the wood to prevent the nut from turning or coming out.

They can be easily driven using a hex key.
