The MAFELL MT5518MBL 18V Cordless Plunge Saw is designed for precision cutting, capable of executing plunge, parting, bevel, and angled cuts without tearing. It features a quick-activation scoring function and delivers clean cuts on visible edges, even with a worn splinter guard. The saw offers continuously variable speed settings suitable for various materials and saw blades, with an extended cutting depth range of up to 57 mm (2 1/4 in.). Its innovative tilting system allows for virtually unlimited bevel cut options.

Installation

Angle setting for bevel cuts is fixed in two locations with half a turn of a single locking screw.

Usage

Features a facility for extremely fine adjustment of the cutting depth setting, ideal for working with sharpened blades or Fermacell.

Cutting depth can be set with millimetre precision, and the pointer can be turned to show the exact cutting depth.

Closed saw blade cover and slide bar minimize dust formation during operation.
