Bigger machine than I thought. Effective on wood and steel but blades wear out quickly when they are of average quality.

Good product unfortunately a little expensive .... but it's makita. Be careful to read the instructions carefully to respect the maximum output of the shoe to avoid breaking the trigger when tightening.

I work on a farm and the use is multi-purpose, it is very pleasant and comfortable to use. I am a woman with very small forces decreasing with age, Be careful to provide glasses protection! and the indication of the use of the different blades according to the work to be done would be welcome, I lack a kind of manual for the different jobs.

Purchased urgently to cut a beam of 10 x 200 in a hard to reach place this machine has done the job without faltering (Use of batteries 5Ah). Easy installation of the blades and possibility to choose the orientation of the teeth. The only complaint is that the adjustment of the cutting shoe requires a tool. For the rest I am always satisfied with the products of the brand. Remember to activate the warranty on the manufacturer's website upon receipt of the machine.

I used this saw to cut 100mmx100mm sections of pine. It works very well and is extremely effective. The battery (not supplied with) holds up for use as a "do-it-yourselfer". Its only flaw and being a little heavy but it avoids jolts when starting a cut. All seems solid and I hope it will hold me as long as the rest of my brand tools.
