This set is the 1.5ah version of the DUH523RF. The new Makita DUH523 Hedge Cutter replaces the BUH523 and is now fully compatible with 4.0ah and 3.0ah batteries.

Lithium-ion battery lighter weight quicker charging and with more run time than an equal voltage Ni-Cad or Ni-MH battery.

Rubberized soft grip provides comfortable and sure grip.

Stain-free shear blade surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for long lasting coating

Anti-vibration structure consisting of Motor-crank section and handle section linked by 5 cushions to absorb vibration from blade and motor-crank section

User-replaceable blade The blade can be removed without disassembling housing.

Battery capacity warning lamp Blinking red; Battery power has been nearly used up. Solid red; Battery power has been used up (Battery protector will shut off the power.)
