Description
The DUP181 is a brushless pruning shear on the 18V LXT Li-Ion platform, designed to deliver efficient, precise cutting for professional and home garden maintenance. Featuring a sensor built into the motor, this ensures smooth blade synchronization with the trigger, so users can easily manage blade movement for improved accuracy and safety. The 4 adjustable blade opening allows customization of the cutting angle and overlap, for various branch sizes up to 30mm in diameter. Standby mode enables temporary storage in a holster between tasks, offering greater convenience and workflow efficiency. Additional features such as the tools lightweight design, brushless motor, and water resistance (XPT) enhances safety and control, making the DUP181 the ideal solution for smooth, effortless pruning across a range of garden and landscaping applications
Shear Blade/Trigger Interlock - The shear blade control is interlocked with the trigger for ease of use, this means the blades will only open & close depending on the degree the trigger was depressed or released.
Adjustable Blade Angle - The shear blade opening angle can be adjusted to 4 angles improving efficiency when making multiple small cuts.
External Blade Lubrication - There is an external oil port that allows the blades to be lubricated without disassembly.
Standby Mode - Convenient for temporarily storing the tool in a holster between tasks. Pull & hold the trigger for approx. 3 seconds to fully close the blade. (To return to normal mode, pull the trigger twice.)
LED Indicator - Mounted on the front of the body, allows the tool status to be monitored with ease.
Two Control Buttons - Main power button to turn tool on or off, with blade opening angle adjustment located adjacent.
eXtreme Protection Technology - Protects the internal components from the elements.
