The Makita UH007GZ XGT® 40Vmax BL Hedge Trimmer features a wet guard for water resistance and offers reliable cutting performance comparable to petrol or AC hedge trimmers. It is designed with an optimum blade shape for smooth cutting and long run time, making it ideal for tackling thick branches.

This tool is very efficient and powerful; the only downside is its considerable weight, but that's the trade-off for its power. I don't regret the purchase at all; I'm twice as fast as I was with my old hedge trimmer from a big-box store.
