Description

General description

The McAlpine VP3 Ventapipe 25 Air Admittance Valve is a plumbing product designed for venting waste pipes in a building's drainage system. It features an integral 1.5" multifit tee for easy connection to waste pipes. This valve allows air to enter the waste pipe system, preventing the siphoning of water from trap seals and the buildup of negative pressure in the pipes. Its compact design enables installation in tight spaces where traditional vent pipes cannot be used, making it a convenient solution for both new installations and retrofits. Additionally, it is maintenance-free, eliminating the need for periodic cleaning or servicing.
