Mirka Pad Saver 150mm 67-HOLE (PK-5) is designed to protect the backing pad from wear and tear during aggressive and continuous sanding with net products. These cost-effective pad savers are placed between the backing pad and the sanding disc, prolonging the life of the backing pads and should be changed regularly.

Installation

Step 1: Match the pad saver hole pattern to the backing pad by locating the matching holes on the pad saver to the locating spots on the backing pad.

Step 2: Apply and press the pad saver firmly to the backing pad.

Step 3: Fasten the abrasive to the pad saver.

Step 4: Place the sander on the object to be sanded and then start the sanding machine.

Usage

Mirka Pad Savers are ideal for use in sanding applications where backing pads are subjected to heavy wear. Regular replacement of the pad savers will ensure optimal performance and longevity of the backing pads.

Hi. I have 11 pairs of exotic wood shutters to sand. And the velcro of the trays did not hold. A plateau equals a shutter. Not profitable business. I have a colleague who recommended these protections to me and here it is. One protection used for 5 pairs of shutters. Do not hesitate. Good DIY
