Absolutely essential as 3rd hand ..... easy to fix on a table, it allows enough positions to be able to work effectively. I only used it for electronic welding work, so no judgment as to its mechanical strength. It allows in any case a powerful clamping for relatively light work.
It's very practical and it can be fixed anywhere, which is very practical for itinerant work sites.
