General description

Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler is a chemically bonded filler and catalyst designed for tough repairs to virtually any wood damage without shrinking or cracking. It is suitable for both interior and exterior wood repairs, particularly effective for areas more than 5mm deep, such as window frames, sills, doors, and door frames. This high-performance filler is available in Natural, Dark, or White colors and comes in a 3.7kg tub with a re-sealable lid.

Installation

For best results, remove any soft wood if repairing rotten wood and treat it with Ronseal Wood Hardener.

Mix a pea-sized amount of hardener with a golf ball-sized amount of filler until uniform in color.

Pack the filler into the hole, leaving some raised above the surface, and smooth it over with a filling knife before it hardens.

You have approximately 20 minutes to shape the filler before it begins to harden.

Usage

Can be sanded, planed, filed, nailed, and screwed after 30 minutes of drying.

Can be stained, varnished, or painted over once dry.

Ideal for any size hole in wood.

For indoor use, ensure proper ventilation by opening doors and windows during application.

Just be careful not to use too much hardener and only work as much as you can place, otherwise it is difficult to keep smooth. Sets well and can be painted over quickly.
